I believe that having some easy-to-follow systems can help scrapbookers be more efficient in getting their pages and albums done. The system I'm best known for and the one that has helped thousands of scrapbookers of all levels complete pages easily and quickly is my 1-2-3 scrapbook method!
At it's heart, a 1-2-3 layout uses 1 piece of double-sided patterned paper, 2 base pages and only requires 3 cuts. Gather your supplies, photos and handout, then follow the instructions to cut & assemble and you've got a finished layout in as little as 15 minutes.
Because you use minimal supplies and make only three cuts following the cutting guide included on every 1-2-3+ handout, these layouts are simple and straightforward - even a new beginner scrapbooker can complete these with ease!
In the latest update to my 1-2-3 method, I've introduced the option of following the "+" Cutting Guide. Using just one additional piece of paper or cardstock and the second cutting guide on the handout, you'll get photo mats & decorative borders or shapes. If you have the time, energy and supplies, the "+" option will create a stunning layout!
