Onboard the Celebrity Silhouette - Round Trip from Fort Lauderdale, FL.
When we first started planning this 2028 Caribbean getaway, we had our sights set on an ABC Islands sailing. We loved the idea of Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao, and I’d even started talking about it before all the group details were finalized. But when the group space we needed wasn’t available, we went back to the drawing board — and I think we may have landed on an itinerary that suits our Moments & Memories philosophy even better.
We still get two of the destinations I was most excited about — Aruba and Curaçao, with all that wonderful color, character and Caribbean sunshine — but now Grand Cayman joins the itinerary too! With beautiful beaches, crystal-clear water, shopping and dining in George Town, island sightseeing, wildlife experiences and plenty of options for both relaxed and more adventurous days, it gives us another port where everyone can choose the kind of day that feels right for them.
And the rhythm of this sailing is a much better fit for the way I want us to travel and create together. We’ll have time at sea to settle in and enjoy the ship, two colorful island days in Aruba and Curaçao, a sea day to relax and scrapbook some of those fresh memories, then Grand Cayman followed by one final day at sea together.
So although this isn’t the cruise we originally thought we were planning, I’m genuinely excited about where we landed. Caribbean color, three very different island experiences, and time to enjoy both the journey and the memories we’re making along the way? Yes, please! And I can't wait for you to join us!

January 13 - Cruising/at sea

Aruba gives us those beautiful white-sand beaches and turquoise waters we picture when we think of the Caribbean, but there’s plenty to enjoy beyond the beach too. Colorful Oranjestad is easy to explore, with shops, cafés, historic buildings and lots of wonderful photo opportunities, while island tours and scenic stops offer even more ways to experience the island. Whether your perfect day includes sightseeing, shopping, relaxing by the water or a little bit of everything, Aruba makes it very easy to choose your own pace.
Curaçao is all about color, character and places that make you want to stop and look a little longer. Willemstad’s iconic waterfront buildings, lively streets, cafés, markets and historic architecture make it a wonderful place to wander and explore, while beaches and island tours offer plenty of options if you want to venture farther. I suspect this may be one of those ports where we come back to the ship with far more photos than we planned - and I don’t think any of us will mind!
Grand Cayman gives us lots of ways to enjoy the Caribbean without everyone having to want the same experience. You might spend the day on famous Seven Mile Beach, explore George Town’s shops and waterfront, join an island sightseeing tour, visit local attractions or head out on the water if you’re feeling more adventurous. It’s an easy port to make your own — relaxed, active or somewhere in between.
Celebrity Silhouette
For eight nights, Celebrity Silhouette will be our home base as we travel between Fort Lauderdale, Aruba, Curaçao, Grand Cayman and back to Fort Lauderdale.
With comfortable public spaces, great dining, sunny pool areas and plenty of places to sit with a coffee and watch the ocean go by, Silhouette gives us lots of ways to enjoy the time between ports without feeling like every minute needs to be scheduled.
And on our sea days, we’ll have dedicated time to gather, create and connect — while still leaving plenty of room to simply enjoy being on vacation.
The Celebrity Silhouette is a Solstice class ship with plenty of spaces to enjoy every part of the journey. From the distinctive Lawn Club and sunny pool deck to stylish lounges, ocean views and inviting spots for coffee or conversation, there’s lots to explore, enjoy and settle into between ports.
I’m excited about the Sky Conference Center, with its large exterior windows keeping us connected to the ocean even while we’re scrapbooking! We’ll have dedicated creative time here on our sea days, with room to spread out, work on our projects and enjoy creating together.
Sea days aren’t only for scrapbooking! We’ll have time to linger over meals, grab a coffee, relax by the pool, enjoy the lounges and entertainment, or simply find a favourite spot and watch the ocean go by. The schedule will leave plenty of room to enjoy Celebrity Silhouette your own way.

You will receive a second payment link for the remaining $200 CAD approximately three months before the cruise date.
The Moments & Memories creative experience is intentionally limited to just 50 scrapbookers, allowing us to keep the group personal, relaxed and connected.
Non-scrapbooking companions are absolutely welcome to sail with us too! They can enjoy the ship, ports and time together while you join us for the scheduled creative sessions. Non-scrapbooking companions will not be charged the Creative Experience fee.
A Moments & Memories trip is designed for scrapbookers who want to experience the destination just as much as they want to document it. We’ll explore, take photos, enjoy the ship and ports, and then use our creative time at sea to begin turning those fresh memories into pages together.
